Our legacy of community service was established by our founder, Sam Kitchell, and holds steadfast within each of our employee owners. It is an attitude of caring, helping neighbors in times of need and simply doing what is right without a reward. Our Kitchell Employee Foundation is an employer-matched fund, enabling us to help dozens of charitable organizations in communities where we have operations. We are both honored and thrilled to be a part of the 2020 Greater San Diego Walk to Defeat ALS!
FOR NON-KITCHELL EMPLOYEES: If you are not a Kitchell employee and want to donate, please click on the “Donate” button on this site. Thank you!

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
