4th Annual ALS Fiesta
Please join us for the 4th Annual ALS Fiesta on Thursday May 23, 2019 at the newly renovated Sycuan Casino Resort!
Like the Walk to Defeat ALS and ALS Golf Tournament, the Fiesta is a major, annual chapter event that honors incredible members in the ALS community while raising much-needed funds to support our missions in care services, research, and advocacy.
The evening will feature a cocktail reception, mystery box shopping, silent auction, a sit-down dinner, program with honorees, entertainment, and a live auction featuring one-of-a-kind experiences.
This year’s ALS Fiesta Honorees include San Diegan and former NBA Head Coach Don Casey. Coach Casey will be honored for his 50 years of fierce advocacy for ALS since losing his mother to the disease in 1969. He has served on the ALS Association Boards at both the San Diego and New York Chapters, is currently on our ALS Greater San Diego Chapter Advisory Council, and is one of only 23 ALS Association National Board of Trustees. In October of 2018, Coach Casey was inducted into the Temple University Athletics Hall of Fame.
