Walk to Defeat ALS
De Anza Cove, Mission Bay

The Walk to Defeat ALS is the #1 way to unite and raise funds for those living with ALS. It’s held in numerous cities in the fall across the nation by the Association’s nationwide network of chapters and since it’s debut in 2000, the event has raised more than $223 million. Last year’s Walk here in San Diego drew over 100 walk teams with over 2,000 participants, many who made a day out of it with tailgating, picnicking with their family or walk teams, or taking in the Remembrance Pavilion. DeAnza Cove offers the beautify of Mission Bay, easy access, plenty of parking, and a family, kid and elderly-friendly setting the participants really enjoy.
