Our Inaugural Strike Out ALS College Baseball Game was a hit! Highlights:
As expected, the University of San Diego was a phenomenal host and went above and beyond to ensure our PALS, families, guests, and staff had a very positive and memorable experience. And Fowler Park is an awesome place to watch college baseball!
"Really wonderful" and "fun night out" feedback from our PALS in attendance.
An all star performance from our volunteers.
Former SDSU Men's Basketball Coach Steve Fisher firing an honorary first pitch strike right down the middle.
A very busy ALS tent with 9 innings of beautiful conversations (both cries and laughs) between our staff and ALS friends, supporters, students, fans, donors, and partners.
Financial and in-person support from multiple sponsors.
More than 25 in-kind donations from local businesses that created an active and fun raffle experience.
Most important...in addition to providing a fun night out for people and families affected by ALS, we really wanted to push ALS Awareness and what people in the community can do to help.
Other than our host Toreros falling short in a close game...Mission Accomplished.
Thanks to All for your support in the effort to Strike Out ALS!
Let's Strike Out ALS!
We're grateful for what will be an amazing evening to raise Awareness and much needed funds for ALS - The ALS Awareness College Baseball Game presented by the University of San Diego. Please come support the fight against ALS while watching the Toreros host the SDSU Aztecs for 9 innings of outstanding Division I college baseball. It's going to be a homerun!
